    • @azukibeanhobbies
      @azukibeanhobbies 5 місяців тому

      You’ll definitely need to seal the wood before painting, otherwise the paint will seep through and crack over time. Try to find a sealer, the one in the video the Jo Sonja’s “Clear Glaze Medium”, which is a light sealer. A heavier sealer is the “All Purpose Sealer”. Another one you can try is one called GAC100. Alternatively, you can use specific types of paint such as milk paint, but this is more for decor purposese.g. painting furniture to get that distressed look.

    Did you wait at all between coats? If so, how long of a wait between the clear glaze medium coat and the acrylic paint coat? How long between the acrylic paint coat and the pre-varnish glaze coat? How long between the second coat of glaze and the final varnishing? Thanks, I’m making a jewelry box for my precious niece 😅

    • @azukibeanhobbies
      @azukibeanhobbies 6 місяців тому

      I would say wait a minimum of 1 day for the first layer on the raw wood so it can properly seal. For each subsequent layer, around an hour would do - you can use a hairdryer to speed up the surface drying time. Each varnishing coat is also 1 hour wait. Have fun with the jewellery box!

    Das ist einfach unglaublich schön!!!! Du bist so talentiert! Habe mir nun vor wenigen Tagen auch den Wohnwagen bestellt und möchte es auch so wunderschön gestalten wir Du! Also nicht alles weil ich nicht die Mittel dazu habe (kein Resin zum Beispiel)., aber einiges auf jeden Fall! Nun wollte ich Dich gerne fragen welche Farbe Du für die Fensterrahmen, sowie für den Boden und die Tür verwendet hast? Ach ja, und für das Dach? Ich kenne mich mit Farben leider gar nicht aus 🙄 Ausserdem hast Du aussen diese tolle Idee mit den Blumen gehabt (Lavendel)!!! Sooo schön!! Mit welcher Farbe hast Du denn die Bambusstäbe dahinter bemalt? Nur mit weiss? Sieht aber nicht wirklich weiss aus 🤔🤔. Und ich nehme an es sind auch keine Acryl Farben, die Du verwendest, oder? Bei den Fensterrahmen, dem Boden und der Tür sind es wohl auch keine Acrylfarben, nicht wahr? Aber was ist es? Ich wäre Dir sehr dankbar wenn Du mir hier weiterhelfen würdest! Hallo Katharina. Für die Fensterrahmen, den Boden und das Dach habe ich Holzlasurgele verwendet, um dem Holz einen durchscheinenden Effekt zu verleihen. Sie können diese Gele in verschiedenen Farben wie Eiche, Teak, Walnuss usw. erhalten. Für die weißen Farben habe ich Acrylfarbe auf einer Schicht weißem Gesso verwendet, um eine bessere Farbhaftung zu gewährleisten. Hoffe das hilft! Viel Spaß beim Gestalten deines eigenen Wohnwagens 😊

      @@user-ly4iz1wt4e Keine Sorge! Für die Fenster und den Fußboden habe ich Eichenholz und für das Dach goldenes Eichenholz verwendet. Ahorn ist eine dunklere Farbe, ich habe diese für den Schrank mit den Schubladen darin verwendet. Für die kleinen Stäbchen ist das nur weiße Acrylfarbe. Aus meiner Erinnerung glaube ich, dass ich auch eine Schicht Mod Podge/PVA-Kleber auf die weiße Farbe aufgetragen habe, um sie ein wenig glänzender zu machen, da die Acrylfarbe, die ich verwendet habe, eine matte Oberfläche hatte.
